Your Visit

What to Expect

From consultation to results in three straightforward steps.

01

Consultation

Assess your goals

Your provider evaluates your facial anatomy, skin condition, and goals. Together you decide on treatment areas, product choice (Botox or Dysport), and a conservative dosing plan designed for natural results.

02

Treatment

10-15 minutes

Injections are precise and quick. Most patients describe a brief, mild pinch at each site. No anesthesia is required, and you can return to normal activities immediately. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

03

Results

Visible in 3-7 days

Results appear gradually over the first week as the neurotoxin takes full effect. Peak results at 2 weeks. A follow-up can be scheduled to fine-tune placement or dosing if needed.

The Difference

Why Choose THE WELLNESS CO. for Neurotoxins

Licensed providers, NP-designed protocols. Your injections are performed by providers personally trained by an NP with over 20 years of experience. That depth of knowledge means precise placement, appropriate dosing, and results that look natural, not frozen.

Conservative approach. We believe in subtle, progressive results. Your first treatment will be intentionally conservative, allowing your provider to assess your response before increasing dosage. The goal is always to preserve your natural expression.

Integrated clinical context. Unlike chain med spas, your aesthetic provider has access to your full medical picture. Hormones, nutrition, hydration, and internal health all affect skin quality and treatment response. We consider the whole picture.

Botox & Dysport FAQ

How long does Botox last?

Results typically last 3 to 4 months, though this varies by individual metabolism, treatment area, and dosing. With consistent treatments, many patients find their results last longer over time as the targeted muscles gradually weaken from repeated relaxation.

Does Botox hurt?

Most patients describe the sensation as a brief, mild pinch. The needles used are extremely fine, and the injections take only a few seconds per site. No anesthesia is required, though ice or topical numbing can be applied for sensitive areas upon request.

At what age should I start Botox?

There is no single right age. Many patients in their late 20s and early 30s begin preventive treatments to slow the formation of dynamic wrinkles before they become permanent static lines. Others start later when existing lines become more noticeable at rest. Your provider will assess your skin and goals during your consultation.

Can Botox treat TMJ or jaw clenching?

Yes. Botox is highly effective for TMJ dysfunction and bruxism (jaw clenching). Injections into the masseter muscle relax the jaw, reducing pain, tension headaches, and tooth grinding. Many patients also notice a slimming effect along the jawline as the overworked muscle relaxes and reduces in size over time.
